Arrival in Shanghai! After quite a few delays, finally arrived at Pudong International Airport. Then went aboard the mag-lev train to get to Shanghai proper. The train was pretty cool, apparently only built for tourists, it covered a good amount of distance at 300 km/h, getting us into the city pretty quickly. Spent the evening at Tianzifang, a really interesting shopping and restaurant area with almost a festival feel. Lots of little trinket stores, European style mini-pubs and niche eateries. Afterward, went back to the hotel, and then out again to meet up with some Akpsi brothers from HKUST and UBC.
